Scarlet Thornes — Voice of the Realms

Scarlet Thornes is a red-haired singer and storyteller who bridges music and tabletop fantasy. A lifelong Dungeons & Dragons player and occasional dungeon master, she writes albums as musical campaigns — each song a session, each lyric a roll of fate. Her sound blends dark symphonic metal, nu-metal, and electronic power, led by soaring, emotive vocals.

Scarlet Thornes

"I don't just write songs — I run campaigns in sound. My worlds have maps, dice, and heartbeats."

Scarlet is a passionate tabletop role-player (especially D&D); her albums are campaign arcs set to music. Each track tells a story, each album a complete adventure where listeners become part of the narrative. Through her music, she invites you into worlds where every chord progression is a plot twist and every melody a character's journey.

Bringing Stories to Life

When I created "Fangs of Valdoria," I knew this story deserved more than just music. The tale of five heroes braving werewolves, vampires, and ancient curses in a land gripped by eternal winter — it was too rich, too immersive to stay confined to a single medium.

The D&D Campaign

That's why I transformed the album into a full D&D 5e campaign. Every song became an encounter, every lyric a quest hook. Players can now step into the boots of Dorian, Elarion, Thargrima, Lyra, and Kaeleen, making choices that shape the narrative in ways the music only hints at.

The campaign isn't just a retelling — it's a living, breathing world where your dice rolls determine whether the Count's curse is broken or if darkness claims Valdoria forever.

I've always believed that the best stories are the ones you help create. The D&D campaign lets you experience the same journey, but with your own party, your own strategies, and your own moments of triumph or tragedy. It's the story of "Fangs of Valdoria" as it was meant to be: collaborative, interactive, and uniquely yours.

The German Audiobook

But music and gameplay weren't enough. I wanted to bring the story to life in yet another way — through the spoken word. The German audiobook "Fänge von Valdoria" is my love letter to immersive storytelling. Each chapter is carefully narrated, with synchronized text that follows along as the story unfolds.

It's like having a bard at your table, spinning tales while you watch the words dance across the page.

What makes this project special isn't just the narration — it's the attention to detail. Every pause, every emphasis, every whispered line is crafted to draw you deeper into Valdoria's frozen landscape. The synchronized text means you can follow along word-for-word, making it perfect for language learners or anyone who wants to experience the story in a new way.

These projects represent everything I love about storytelling: music that sets the mood, games that let you shape the narrative, and audiobooks that bring words to life. "Fangs of Valdoria" isn't just an album — it's a multi-dimensional experience, a story told through sound, dice, and voice. And that, to me, is what makes it truly magical.
